About the author
Having spent my life across three Australian states—Victoria, Western Australia and New South Wales—I grew up telling stories from a very young age. We’re talking scrawling down ideas on coloured paper, folding it in half and declaring it a “book” (I’m pretty sure my grandparents still have some of them stored away somewhere).
I started submitting my books to agents and publishers when I was 12 (they were not good, and I don’t blame these people for gently rejecting me), but it was only in my early twenties that I began to get involved with fellow authors and learn more about indie publishing. My career started off with several submissions in Australian anthologies, mostly run by Deadset Press.
In late 2018, I began writing my debut novel, Blood of Queens. From there, I hurtled headlong into the indie publishing realm, learning a lot from my fellow friends and authors, until Blood of Queens was finally published in 2021. Since then, I have completed the Legacy of the Lost trilogy, had another anthology piece published in Of Fate And Fury, and have my fourth book set for publication in late 2025.
As a writer, I am especially passionate about complex characters, healthy relationships, and well-written female protagonists. In my spare time, you can find me drinking tea, settling in with a good book, or creating yet another character in Baldur’s Gate 3.
